$40/hour

• Lead and mentor a small accounting team while driving financial operations
• Mix of strategic planning and hands-on accounting responsibilities
• Help improve financial processes, internal controls, and reporting
• Play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and organizational financial strategy

• The Interim Controller will oversee month-end and year-end close, general ledger, and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including budget-to-actual analyses and grant reporting
• Manage grant and contract financial reporting and compliance
• The Interim Controller will support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Coordinate audits, Form 990 preparation, and regulatory filings
• The Interim Controller will supervise accounting staff and ensure efficient day-to-day financial operations

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• 5+ years of nonprofit accounting experience
• Strong grant accounting and grant management experience
• CPA preferred
