Accounts Payable Clerk
United Talent Staffing is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk for a full-time opportunity in Mt. Morris, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working with financial records, managing deadlines, and keeping processes organized. The Accounts Payable Clerk will support multiple companies and projects while processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and maintaining accurate accounting records.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, organize, and process purchase orders, delivery tickets, and invoices for multiple companies and projects.
- Accurately enter invoices while meeting monthly accounting deadlines.
- Track invoice due dates and maintain organized payment schedules.
- Process approved vendor payments accurately and promptly.
- Reconcile accounts payable balances with monthly vendor statements.
- Review utility invoices and monitor charges for accuracy.
- Process company credit card statements and verify receipts and supporting documentation.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper accounting records.
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls professionally.
- Welcome and assist visitors in a courteous manner.
- Provide support in other accounting and administrative areas as needed.
- Complete additional assignments and special projects requested by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least two years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, or related accounting experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong computer and data-entry skills.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle financial and company information confidentially.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical and Scheduling Requirements
- Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to read and review electronic and printed documents, with or without corrective lenses.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb stairs as needed.
- Availability to work additional hours or occasional weekends when required.
