This newly created Property Accountant position reports directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for the full-cycle accounting of a portfolio of approximately 8-10 properties and 7 associations. The ideal Property Accountant will possess strong technical accounting skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage multiple entities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

- Managing full-cycle accounting for assigned properties
- Processing accounts payable, including invoice coding, approvals, payments, and vendor maintenance
- Handling accounts receivable activities, tenant payments, and account reconciliations
- Preparing journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, depreciation, and fixed asset schedules
- Performing monthly bank reconciliations and maintaining general ledger accuracy
- Analyzing tenant ledgers, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other balance sheet accounts
- Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements for assigned entities
- Supporting lease administration by recording rent payments and monitoring outstanding balances
- Preparing annual CAM reconciliations and related supporting documentation
- Maintaining vendor W-9 records and supporting annual 1099 reporting requirements
- Serving as the primary accounting contact for an assigned portfolio of properties
- Assisting with audits, special projects, and accounting process improvements
- Supporting an upcoming accounting system transition and continuous process enhancements
- 3+ years of property accounting experience required, ideally on the commercial side
- Experience with full-cycle accounting
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes
- Strong corporate accounting background
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, but not required
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines simultaneously

Monday-Friday,40-hour work week (Core hours of 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM with flexible scheduling outside of core hours). Primarily onsite in York, PA, with remote capability when needed
Salary$70,000 - $80,000
