We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to oversee accurate and timely payroll processing for a large employee population in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. This position supports multi-state payroll operations within the insurance industry and plays an important role in maintaining compliance, resolving payroll issues, and ensuring a dependable experience for employees. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, hands-on payroll expertise, and confidence working in high-volume environments.

• Process end-to-end payroll for a workforce of more than 500 employees while meeting established deadlines and accuracy standards.
• Administer payroll activities across multiple states, ensuring earnings, deductions, taxes, and with holdings are handled in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Review payroll data for completeness and correctness, identify discrepancies, and take corrective action before final submission.
• Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation to promote compliance, audit readiness, and organized reporting.
• Respond to employee and management questions related to pay, deductions, time records, and payroll adjustments with strong attention to detail.
• Partner with internal teams such as human resources and finance to coordinate payroll changes, employee updates, and reporting needs.
• Generate payroll reports and reconcile payroll information to support internal review and financial accuracy.
• Utilize payroll platforms such as UKG Pro to manage processing activities and support operational efficiency.
