Cost Accounting Manager

Location: Tipton

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to join their team. As a Cost Accounting Manager, you will be part of the Finance department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $85,000 - $95,000

** Shift:
** Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30m

** What's the Job?*
* + Maintain and improve the company's cost accounting system to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

+ Analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, overhead, scrap, and landed costs.

+ Establish and monitor cost standards, investigate variances, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

+ Prepare and present cost reports, financial statements, and support month-end closing processes.

+ Develop financial models and conduct cost analyses to support decision-making and operational improvements.

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

+ Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing cost accounting, inventory accounting, or related areas.

+

Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Syteline.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

+ Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory accounting, and U.S. GAAP; CPA preferred.
