The H&K Group is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support accurate, compliant payroll for our heavy civil construction and materials operations across the Mid-Atlantic. In this role, you will process multi-state payroll for hourly craft and salaried employees, maintain detailed job cost and deduction records, and administer garnishments, union benefits, and prevailing wage requirements. You'll collaborate closely with HR, accounting, and project teams, prepare payroll tax and year-end reports, respond to employee inquiries, and uphold our family-owned, safety-focused culture while building a long-term career with growth opportunities.
