Assistant Controller

I’m partnering with a growing, vertically integrated real estate investment and management firm on an Assistant Controller opportunity supporting a multifamily portfolio, investment funds, and corporate entities.

This is a great opportunity for a real estate accounting professional who wants meaningful ownership, visibility, and exposure beyond traditional property accounting.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the VP of Finance and partner across Accounting, Asset Management, Property Management, and other areas of the business. You’ll have a hands-on role in:

• Owning key accounting and financial processes
• Partnering with senior finance leadership
• Improving processes, controls, and efficiencies
• Working across property and corporate accounting
• Mentoring and developing accounting team members
• Gaining broad exposure to a growing real estate platform

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6+ years of progressive real estate accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Public accounting experience preferred
