We are looking for a meticulous and dependable Staff Accountant to join our client's team in the Bridgeville, Pennsylvania area. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting various accounting functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, system proficiency, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions, including managing disbursements and cash receipts.
• Handle payroll processing and perform analyses, including reconciling payroll cash and benefits accounts.
• Prepare and file business taxes, analyze prepaid and accrued tax accounts, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Support senior accounting staff and managers by assisting with financial reporting and other accounting tasks.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy in financial statements.
• Conduct audits of inventory and fixed assets to maintain proper accounting records.
• Utilize accounting systems to organize and analyze financial data effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing profit and loss statements and other financial reports for management review.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all accounting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
