Payroll Administrator

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our client's team on a contract basis for approximately six months. This individual will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting employees and maintaining compliance with federal,

state, and company payroll regulations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with numbers, systems, and employee-related payroll matters.

Responsibilities

+ Process weekly, biweekly, or semimonthly payroll accurately and on schedule

+ Review and validate payroll data, including hours worked, earnings, deductions, garnishments, and benefits

+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations

+ Maintain employee payroll records and update information as needed

+ Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, direct deposits, and deductions

+ Reconcile payroll reports and assist with month-end reporting activities

+ Coordinate with Human Resources and Accounting to ensure accurate employee and compensation data

+ Assist with payroll audits and reporting requirements

+ Prepare payroll-related documentation and support special projects as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

+ 2+ years of payroll processing experience preferred

+ Knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices

+

Experience with ADP preferred

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

+ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

+ Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
