Project Accountant

PROJECT FINANCIAL ANALYST | CONSTRUCTION

A premier, growing General Contractor/Construction Manager is adding a Project Financial Analyst to its team. The company generates approximately $200M in annual revenue and has an excellent reputation in the market.

This is an opportunity to work closely with Project Managers and Project Executives while taking ownership of the financial performance of construction projects.

• Analyze project profitability, budgets, and forecasts
• Prepare monthly project financial reports and WIP schedules
• Track costs, commitments, change orders, billing, and cash flow
• Perform cost-to-complete and budget-to-actual analysis
• Identify financial risks, variances, and opportunities
• Partner with Project Managers and Project Executives
• Support project closeout and final cost reconciliation

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• 2–5 years of accounting, finance, project accounting, or financial analysis experience
• Construction experience strongly preferred
• Strong Excel skills — Pivot Tables, formulas, lookups, and data analysis
• Sage Intacct, Procore, or similar systems a plus
• Understanding of WIP, percentage-of-completion, forecasting, and project costs preferred
• Hard-working, dependable, personable, and outgoing
• Strong analytical and communication skills
