Staff Accountant

• Support day-to-day accounting operations, including contract setup and customer billing
• Review and verify customer contracts for billing requirements, pricing, and invoicing accuracy
• Prepare, review, and issue precise customer invoices in line with contract terms and policies
• Monitor billing activities, investigate discrepancies, and resolve variances promptly
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, schedules, and explanations
• Ensure strict compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Prepare and file all necessary accounting and reporting forms efficiently

• Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures
• Experience with contract management and billing is preferred
• At least an Associate’s degree in Accounting, a related field, or equivalent experience

• Proficiency with Viewpoint by Vista is a plus
• Knowledge of audit procedures and internal control practices
