Spring-Ford Area School District is hiring a 10 Month Receptionist to greet and assist visitors, to answer and direct telephone calls and to provide a professional and welcoming atmosphere ensuring excellent customer service to callers, visitors, employees, and students.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs clerical duties such as: copying data, answering telephones, communicating with classrooms/custodians/house principal/principal through building system or phone to relay messages or emergencies, greeting visitors, checking visitor's I.D. through Raptor and providing guest badges, and providing staff/faculty support.
- Responsible for making morning announcements and student activity announcements.
- Checks in daily substitutes and provides them with directions to the classroom(s), class schedules, and classroom keys.
- Maintains the early dismissal list and makes sure students are in the office at their early dismissal time.
- Ensures students are helped when entering the office: making phone calls home, picking up items that were dropped off from parents, collecting notes, checking in late students, and monitoring students who have missed their bus.
- Perform any other job-related duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned by the building principals or their designee.
Schedule: 6:45 AM - 2:45 PM, Monday - Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 10 Months (193 days per year)
Compensation: Starting hourly rate: $22.65/hour. Spring-Ford Area School District offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and prescription insurance, as well as paid time off and a tuition reimbursement program. This position is part of the Public School Employees Retirement System (PSERS).
The successful candidate will be required to submit valid Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114 clearances (dated less than 1 year from the start of employment) and a Health Record/TB Test form (dated less than 90 days from the start of employment).
