Position SummaryProvide confidential administrative support to the Principal and staff of the elementary school, demonstrating discretion, initiative, sound judgment, and technical proficiency in performing a range of administrative tasks.
Qualifications- High School Diploma with training in the secretarial field;
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business preferred. - Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills; with a proven ability to deliver projects on time and in an organized manner.
- Demonstrated mathematical and statistical ability, including a foundational understanding of accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently in a task-oriented and detail-specific manner, demonstrating strong self-motivation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, data entry, and Google Workspace. Experience with eFinance is a plus.
- Strong skills in letter and report preparation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including tact, patience, and courtesy.
- Demonstrated reliability in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Must complete and maintain compliance with state-required employment clearances and training.
- Provide confidential clerical and administrative support to the Principal.
- Prepare and distribute professional correspondence to Administration, Staff, and Parents.
- Manage the building budget, including bookkeeping, accounting, and financial oversight.
- Manage purchasing and ordering of office and school supplies.
- Perform standard office tasks, including mail processing, filing, copying, and collating.
- Schedule and manage appointments for the Principal and school activities.
- Oversee office functions, including building usage organization, student registration, school calendar management, bus dismissal coordination, meeting scheduling, and welcoming new parents and students.
- Represent the school positively and professionally to the public.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
- Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned by the Principal.

Terms of Employment- 260 days per year and 8 hours per day. Daily hours are 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. with a half-hour unpaid lunch.
