We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will support our finance department by managing various accounting and administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry and bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as Netsuite
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking
- Manage office duties, including filing, document proofreading, and maintaining organized records
- Occasionally handle front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone systems, and providing excellent customer service
- Maintain office supplies inventory and ensure smooth daily operations through effective organizational skills
- Provide customer support via phone or email, addressing inquiries professionally with proper phone etiquette
Requirements
- Proven clerical or administrative experience in an office environment
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in productivity software such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Experience with data entry, filing, and proofreading to ensure accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with Net Suite or similar accounting software is preferred
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
