Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Clerical
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Sort and distribute mail
Work independently and within a team on projects
Assist with special projects such as coordinating facility maintenance, planning and coordinating presentations, disseminating information, coordinating direct mailings, creating brochures, organizing events, and other duties as needed
Stock kitchen supplies and clean kitchen area daily
Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages
Greet visitors and notify employees of visitors when necessary
Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities
Operate office equipment, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers
Assist with errands as necessary
Inventory and order office materials, supplies, and services as needed
Complete work schedules, manage calendars, and arrange appointments
Prepare and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports
Type, format, proofread, and edit correspondence and other documents using a computer
Handle confidential and non-routine information when necessary
Other duties as assigned
Required Education/ExperienceHigh School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) and work experience of 2
-3 years in an office setting.

• Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment - required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - required
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) - required
Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary.
Work EnvironmentThis job operates in an office environment. Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
