Casselman Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Staffing Coordinator to assist with maintaining appropriate staffing levels and coordinating scheduling needs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with spreadsheets, and using critical thinking to address staffing challenges in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role requires someone who can build positive working relationships with staff and management, communicate effectively, and approach staffing challenges with professionalism and a solutions-focused mindset.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and maintain staff schedules to help meet facility staffing requirements.
Monitor staffing needs and identify scheduling gaps or potential coverage issues.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with staff, management, and members of the healthcare team.
Communicate staffing needs, scheduling changes, and coverage updates clearly and professionally.
Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain schedules, staffing information, and related reports.
Manage and navigate various applications and online platforms related to staffing and recruitment.
Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address staffing challenges and find appropriate solutions.
Perform basic mathematical calculations to determine staffing needs and ensure appropriate coverage.
Maintain accurate and organized staffing records.
Assist with other staffing and administrative duties as assigned.
Previous staffing or scheduling experience preferred.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
