Thornton Automotive Dover is looking for a dependable Service Lube Technician to join our team in a clean, modern, state-of-the-art,
AIR-CONDITIONED service center. Our service department has made huge strides over the past few years—and we’re continuing to grow.

We’re a premium used automotive Sales, Service, and Collision Center located on Route 74 in Dover, PA. Our shop is only about 10 years old—bright, well-maintained, and built for technicians who want a professional environment and steady work.

As a Service Lube Technician, you’ll deliver fast, accurate maintenance services while supporting an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform oil and filter changes efficiently and correctly
• Rotate tires, check/adjust tire pressures, and perform basic tire services as needed
• Complete multi-point inspections and document findings clearly
• Perform PA State Safety Inspections and Emissions tests in compliance with all state requirements
• Perform routine maintenance services (fluids, filters, wipers, bulbs, batteries as applicable)
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
• Keep your bay clean, organized, and safe; follow all shop processes and procedures
• Communicate inspection results and service needs through proper documentation

• Required: Current PA State Safety Inspection and Emissions License
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Experience in lube/maintenance work preferred (we will train the right person)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Dependable, team-oriented, and professional attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
