Car Shop is seeking a Parts Installer to join our service team. In this role, you'll support our reconditioning and service operations by performing basic maintenance and parts installation while developing the skills needed to advance your automotive career.

What You'll Do

As a Parts Installer, you'll support our reconditioning and service teams by performing maintenance services and installing replacement parts with quality, efficiency, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include:
  • Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with Car Shop standards
  • Install parts for our reconditioning team, including batteries, tires, and other replacement components
  • Mount and balance tires
  • Perform oil and filter changes
  • Inspect and replenish vehicle fluid levels as necessary
  • Check and adjust tire pressure
  • Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts and materials
  • Inspect assigned vehicles and identify additional maintenance or safety concerns
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to Service Advisors and management
  • Document all work performed accurately on repair orders
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and protect customer vehicles while in service
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of 1 year of automotive shop experience or equivalent automotive education/training preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and desire to learn
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail‑oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Demonstrates integrity and follows through on commitments
  • Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to prioritize work and consistently meet performance goals
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to pass pre‑employment screening, including background and drug testing
