Automotive Mechanic

Jiffy Lube Technician — responsible for Signature Service Oil Change, routine preventive maintenance, vehicle diagnostics, general repair services, brake services, tire replacement, and related tasks. Certified technicians may advance to roles such as Certified Technician, Service Advisor, or Management.

• Perform Jiffy Lube Signature Service oil change
• Inspect and service fluids, filters, lights, wipers, tires, and other minor services
• Test, diagnose, and repair brakes, ABS systems, shocks/suspensions, alternators, starters, sensors, spark plugs, tires, cooling system, A/C repair, and light engine repair
• Upon certification, qualify for advancement opportunities within the organization

All experience levels are welcome. Previous experience is preferred, with a minimum of one year working for a dealership, automotive shop, tire center, or quick lube. ASE certification is a plus.

• Operate equipment such as overhead and floor‑mounted oil and grease guns, vehicle lift controls, impact wrenches, transmission machine, air conditioner service machine, radiator service machine, hand tools and basic shop equipment
• Lift and move work‑related items up to 50 pounds
• Push, pull, lift, and bend at the knees and waist, twist the body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, and turn head/neck/shoulders as needed
