Experienced Auto Mechanics Needed. Adcock Brother Service Center is currently looking to expand our team. We are a full automotive service center of all makes and models foreign and domestic. With over 50 years in the automotive business, the Adcock name is recognized as a national leader in automotive sales and service. With the expansion of our Service Center over 8 years ago, we have quickly established ourselves as a leader in the repair and maintenance for the central Pennsylvania area as well.
Adcock Brothers Service Center has a small, committed team for technical professionals working out of Manheim, PA directly across from the Manheim Auction. We offer a family atmosphere for our team members and service a wide range of clients.
- Vehicle Diagnosis:
Utilize your knowledge and skills to accurately diagnose automotive issues using diagnostic tools and inspection techniques. - Repairs:
Perform a wide range of automotive repairs, including but not limited to engine repairs, brake repairs, transmission repairs, suspension repairs, and electrical system repairs. - Maintenance:
Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks to ensure the longevity of customers' vehicles. - Parts Replacement:
Efficiently replace and install automotive parts, including belts, hoses, filters, and more, while adhering to safety and quality standards. - Quality Assurance:
Perform quality control checks to ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed to high standards and meet manufacturer specifications. - Record Keeping:
Keep accurate records of all services performed, parts used, and labor hours for billing and warranty purposes. - Safety:
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- 1 year of automotive mechanic experience.
- Knowledge of and ability to work on all makes and models of vehicles.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with automotive repair tools and equipment.
- Basic computer skills for record keeping and diagnostic purposes.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Must have emissions and inspection license.
