Automotive General Service Technician

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, fluid replacements, tire rotations, and alignments to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs such as brake servicing, suspension checks, and other standard passenger car operations.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently.
• Assist with automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical or electrical problems accurately.
• Support automotive service operations by performing tire service, wheel balancing, and basic mechanical repairs.
• Maintain a high level of customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Assist with vehicle inspections and ensure all work meets safety standards and dealership quality expectations.

• Previous dealership experience or mechanic experience is highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of standard passenger cars and automotive systems.
• Experience with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with automotive fluid replacement procedures including oil changes and coolant flushes.
• Ability to perform minor mechanical repairs such as brake work, suspension repairs, and tire services.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools required for automotive repair tasks.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules and safety protocols.
• Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely during tire changes or mechanical repairs.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is necessary.
