We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our Wexford Kia team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. For this position, you will need to have excellent technical skills and familiarity with the repair and maintenance of vehicles. This opportunity allows you to have earning potentials up to $150k based on experience.

Job Duties:

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnosis and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
• Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

Requirements

• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications preferred
• Must have a valid drivers license, be able to pass MVR and Background
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Must be over 18 years of age
