Cox Automotive seeks a Body Shop Estimator/Auditor II to deliver accurate collision repair estimates and audits across its automotive network. In this role, you will assess vehicle damage, prepare detailed appraisals, validate body shop invoices, and ensure compliance with repair standards and insurance guidelines. You'll collaborate with internal teams, shops, and clients, using estimating software and data to identify variances, control costs, and improve repair quality.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed vehicle damage inspections and prepare accurate repair estimates using industry-standard software
  • Audit body shop estimates and invoices for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with OEM and insurance guidelines
  • Analyze labor, parts, and materials costs to identify discrepancies, overcharges, and savings opportunities
  • Collaborate with shops, adjusters, and internal Cox Automotive teams to resolve estimate and billing issues
  • Document findings, create clear audit reports, and present recommendations to stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards in recommended repair procedures
  • Leverage data and trends to improve estimating accuracy and shop performance
  • Support cross-functional projects that enhance repair processes and operational efficiency
  • Provide guidance to internal partners on estimating best practices and policy interpretation
  • Contribute to a collaborative, people-first culture focused on integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement
