Automotive Repair Technician

Passenger & Light Truck Vehicles — Full-Time, On-Site

We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and highly skilled Automotive Repair Technician/Mechanic who is strong in mechanical repair across all aspects of passenger vehicles and light-duty trucks.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technician who can accurately diagnose vehicle problems, perform quality repairs, clearly communicate what a vehicle needs, and take pride in maintaining a clean and professional work environment.

• Employment: Full-Time

• Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM

• Work Arrangement: On-Site Only

• Work Location: In-shop automotive repair facility

• No remote or hybrid work

• Perform all aspects of mechanical repair and maintenance on passenger vehicles and light-duty trucks.

• Diagnose mechanical and drivability issues accurately and efficiently.

• Complete repairs including, but not limited to:

  • Brakes and brake systems

  • Steering and suspension

  • Engine repairs

  • Cooling systems

  • Heating and A/C systems

  • Electrical and starting/charging systems

  • Exhaust systems

  • Fuel and ignition systems

  • Transmission and drivetrain-related repairs

  • Preventative maintenance and general vehicle service

• Properly inspect vehicles and identify necessary repairs.

• Clearly explain vehicle problems, recommended repairs, and safety concerns to management and/or customers.

• Perform quality repairs while following proper repair procedures and safety standards.

• Use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and shop equipment effectively.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Properly care for shop equipment, tools, and customer vehicles.

• Complete work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

• Perform Pennsylvania State Safety and Emissions Inspections as authorized by your certification.

• Road-test vehicles when necessary and appropriate.

• Work independently while also being a reliable and productive team member.

• Strong mechanical repair experience with passenger cars and light-duty trucks.

• Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive mechanical systems.

• Valid Pennsylvania State Inspection License required.

• Valid Driver's License required.

• Own and maintain a decent selection of professional automotive tools necessary to perform common repair jobs.

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to clearly communicate what a vehicle needs and why.

• Dependable, punctual, and responsible.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Takes pride in quality workmanship.

• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Must be available to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM.

• Must be willing and able to work on-site every scheduled workday.
