Do you bring a track record of Business Development & Sales activity into a Pharma or Bio Pharma customer base? A knowledge of Data Insights, RWE/RWI or HEOR as a product offering? If so, you’re invited to join the SOPHiA GENETICS Bio Pharma Services Team as a Senior Director, Bio Pharma Business Development for RWD, and help make a positive impact on the outcomes for cancer and rare disease patients worldwide.
This is a field‑based role, working from across EU5 or the US East Coast. Due to high collaboration and team structure within Europe, this role wouldn’t suit someone working remotely from the US West Coast or Central states.
Bio Pharma Solutions- Real‑World Data (RWD) Solutions – Providing insights from multimodal datasets across our global decentralised network.
- Multimodal Analytics – Stratifying populations using multimodal biomarkers through advanced analytics.
- Solutions Development & Deployment – Development of clinical decision support solutions coupled with a decentralised deployment to enable commercialisation of your asset.
- Support, design and implement Bio Pharma solutions; i.e. real world data insights and patient recruitment solutions, as well as multimodal analytics to support pharma needs.
- Understand the requirements of top 20 Bio Pharma customers to develop competitive Bio Pharma offerings that fulfil client needs and maximise revenue.
- Prospect, develop partnerships and sign commercial contracts for Bio Pharma Solutions, including pricing & sales strategy.
- Lead strategic account planning for priority pharma partners, including opportunity mapping, stakeholder engagement plans, and multiyear growth roadmaps.
- Identify the benefits of Bio Pharma Solutions and translate them into customer‑facing messaging.
- Proven experience building and growing strategic partnerships with top 10–20 pharma, ideally including real‑world data, evidence generation, or similar data services.
- 8+ years’ experience selling data or data‑driven services into biopharma, with a track record of closing complex, multi‑stakeholder deals.
- Knowledge of selling products, services or solutions linked to data insights – genomic insights, clinic‑genomic, RWE or RWD data insights are highly valuable.
- Demonstrated ability to shape and sell innovative, non‑commoditised offerings (e.g. customised data projects, multimodal insights, or services like ABACO) in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.

Salary: $144K – $247K (Senior Director)
