Procurement Associate (Professional Services)

Location: United States (On-site) | 12-Month Contract

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support procurement activities for large-scale capital projects. This role focuses primarily on the procurement of Professional Services, with additional exposure to Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) and Automation & Controls.

The Procurement Associate will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective sourcing strategies, cost control, risk mitigation, and compliance with established procurement governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support procurement strategies for professional services aligned with capital project objectives
• Manage RFPs, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, amendments, and close-outs
• Serve as a liaison between internal project teams and external suppliers
• Partnering with Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Project Controls teams
• Administer contracts and commercial terms in collaboration with Legal and Project Controls
• Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and financial authorization requirements
• Support dispute resolution, contract change management, and risk mitigation efforts

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of procurement experience
• Strong experience in professional services and staff augmentation procurement
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work on-site a minimum of 3 days per week
• Experience supporting large-scale staff augmentation procurement
