What You’ll Do
  • Drive cost savings, cost avoidance, and cash improvement initiatives across the organization’s indirect spending.
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive indirect procurement strategy supporting manufacturing and packaging operations, facilities, professional services, marketing, IT, HR, MRO, and capital goods.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to manage the full indirect sourcing lifecycle, including RFP, RFI, and RFQ development, evaluation, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and continuity of supply.
  • Develop and implement supplier management strategies using scorecards, performance metrics, and best‑practice sourcing methodologies.
  • Identify and execute alternative sourcing strategies to reduce cost, mitigate risk, and improve supply resilience.
  • Optimize working capital by negotiating vendor payment terms and managing inventory levels in line with business targets.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen procurement processes, controls, and supply chain excellence.
  • Execute purchase orders based on business needs, track order fulfillment, and ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Build tools and repositories to enable a data‑driven approach to identifying savings opportunities, and manage on‑going spend.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize spend through implementation of contracts. Work with internal & external stakeholders to develop standard MSA templates to scale contract implementation rapidly, incorporating contract levers (SLAs, KPIs, credits, termination, renewals) to ensure performance and value realization.
  • Institute process‑disciplined procurement culture—codify policies/SOPs, close control gaps, and drive adoption through training and change management.
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement, pricing, and contract documentation.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in indirect or strategic procurement, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cost analysis, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiation.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate procurement bids and suppliers using established criteria and performance metrics.
  • Proven experience managing multiple priorities, complex projects, and cross‑functional stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with sound judgment and decision‑making ability.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to prepare formal procurement documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to systematically and sustainably reduce spend across multiple categories.
