What you'll do:
- Partner with the VP of Sales on marketing strategy for new and renewal accounts — you run the execution behind every case they bring in
- Own the quality of RFP and renewal submissions: review census, claims, and plan data with the Account Coordinator, and chase down missing information from brokers and carriers so cases go to market clean
- Quarterback the quoting process with our Marketing Specialists — fielding carrier questions and making sure responses go back accurately and on time
- Serve as the day-to-day contact for assigned accounts, managing deadlines, compliance requirements, and service issues across the full policy cycle
- Maintain complete, organized electronic files documenting client meetings, decisions, and open issues throughout the sales cycle
- Build and deliver annual stewardship reviews — the claims, savings, and service analysis we present to broker partners each year
- Act as a strategic resource and mentor within the field office team
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years in group benefits — from the broker/consultant, TPA, carrier, or general agency side
- Stop-loss or self-funded experience is a strong plus, but not required — we'll teach the product to the right benefits professional
- Experience working with mid-size to large employer groups
- Group Life & Health license (PA), or ability to obtain shortly after hire
- Comfortable in front of brokers and carrier partners — polished written and verbal communication at every level
- Sharp analytical instincts: you can spot a hole in a claims report and reconcile numbers that don't add up
- Highly organized and deadline-driven — renewal season is fast-paced and detail mistakes have real consequences
- Proficient across Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
- Degree preferred, equivalent experience welcome
