Role Overview

The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI seeks an Account Manager to develop, maintain, and expand client relationships within the Relationship Management and Client Service team.

Responsibilities
  • Build deeper relationships with existing clients and understand their business objectives.
  • Consult clients on industry trends, product differentiation, new market opportunities, and success stories.
  • Manage client and internal expectations, identify, resolve, and, when necessary, elevate critical issues.
  • Advocate for clients inside the organization and represent SEI externally.
  • Engage with internal teams to refine service offerings and support department‑wide initiatives for effectiveness.
  • Lead onboarding of new clients and manage key client projects (e.g., fund opening/closing, fund mergers, asset pool conversions, external provider changes).
  • Ensure standardized processes are created and followed for routine activities.
  • Assist IMS in meeting business objectives by maintaining revenue and profitability goals, identifying cross‑sell opportunities, and supporting recontract and RFP processes.
  • Participate in IMS and corporate professional development sessions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of investment management/operations experience (traditional or alternative).
  • Strong team‑building and client service skills aligned with SEI Client Experience Principles.
  • Proven project management skills and ability to monitor multiple deliverables without sacrificing quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; primary client contact via email and phone.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
