HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IN NAZARETH, PA
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. This individual will be responsible for providing managerial and operational support for the efficient operation of maintenance functions within a distribution or warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency in computer systems and warehouse management software, and much more listed below.

Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $55,000- $60,000/year
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- Rotating Schedule
- Located in Nazareth, Pennsylvania
- Manage and coordinate activities of associates within the Maintenance department.
- Support operations through the design and implementation of maintenance work schedules.
- Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, retention, promotion, or transfer in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager.
- Assign tasks, schedule breaks, work hours, and vacation time for maintenance staff.
- Conduct periodic employee evaluations in alignment with company HR policies.
- Train team members on company procedures, safety practices, and job responsibilities.
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure the proper upkeep of the facility.
- Document internal and vendor-based inspections per company policy.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and prepare related reports.
- Monitor equipment functionality and ensure timely repairs.
- Generate and track internal and external work orders using work order management software.
- Ensure all mechanical systems and equipment are functioning properly.
- Prepare operational reports as needed by management.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and OSHA regulations.
- Initiate purchase requests and manage inventory for spare parts and equipment.
- Oversee sanitation and cleanliness practices throughout the facility.
- Supervise daily operations related to material handling equipment.
- Monitor vendor performance under preventative maintenance agreements.
- Coordinate and document repairs and maintenance activities with vendors.
- Collaborate closely with the maintenance team to manage purchasing, invoicing, and inspection processes.
- Serve as a point of contact for emergency facility needs during off-hours.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, self-starting approach.
- Proficiency in computer systems and warehouse management software.
- Experience in warehouse supervision; some college coursework preferred.
- Background in maintenance within a warehouse or industrial setting is required.
- Must be able to interact across all levels of the organization and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Extended periods of computer use.
- Frequent walking and standing throughout the facility.
- Ability to work in a warehouse/distribution center with varying temperatures.
