Role Summary
The R2 MES Digital Record Author independently manages digital record lifecycle activities and provides front‑line support for MES execution. This role plays a key part in maintaining system integrity, supporting investigations, and improving operational performance.
Key Responsibilities- Independently author, update, and maintain MES digital records
- Ensure compliance with MES standards, data integrity, and documentation requirements
- Provide Level 1 troubleshooting support for MES‑related issues
- Participate in deviation investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align records with manufacturing processes
- Support onboarding and knowledge sharing with less experienced authors
- Works independently on standard assignments
- Actively contributes to troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Balances execution, support, and continuous improvement activities
- High School Diploma and at least 2 years of experience
- or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree (preferred)
- Experience working with MES digital records
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent facilitation, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
- Knowledge of integrated Manufacturing Execution Systems
- Understanding of cGMP and Process Automation System Life Cycle methodologies
