Manufacturing Automation Specialist

Role Summary

The R2 MES Digital Record Author independently manages digital record lifecycle activities and provides front‑line support for MES execution. This role plays a key part in maintaining system integrity, supporting investigations, and improving operational performance.

• Independently author, update, and maintain MES digital records
• Ensure compliance with MES standards, data integrity, and documentation requirements
• Provide Level 1 troubleshooting support for MES‑related issues
• Participate in deviation investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align records with manufacturing processes
• Support onboarding and knowledge sharing with less experienced authors

• Works independently on standard assignments
• Actively contributes to troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Balances execution, support, and continuous improvement activities

• High School Diploma and at least 2 years of experience
• or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree (preferred)

• Experience working with MES digital records
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent facilitation, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills

• Knowledge of integrated Manufacturing Execution Systems
• Understanding of cGMP and Process Automation System Life Cycle methodologies
