Job DescriptionCarnaud Metalbox Engineering Limited is seeking a proactive Business Process Improvement Engineer responsible for identifying and managing continuous improvement projects across U.S CMbE sites. Acting as a single point of contact for stakeholders, this role focuses on analysing data, conducting business audits, and recommending improvements.
Job Responsibilities- Lead and facilitate process mapping and analysis workshops with cross‑functional teams to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Be a “vehicle of change”. This person must be comfortable working with all levels within the organization, be able to question the status quo, and be a strong communicator.
- Map and document existing (“as‑is”) workflows to highlight pain points, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead continuous improvement projects.
- Support in the design of the future (“to‑be”) process.
- Train, coach and motivate personnel in the understanding and adoption of new principles and techniques.
- Validate solutions prior to release while consulting with stakeholders.
- Coordinate projects with external contractors and suppliers.
- Audit business process and systems to identify non‑conformances and potential improvements.
- Provide communications of activities to business stakeholders.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in business process improvement, process engineering, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding and practical application of Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Understanding of business systems data flow and architecture.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and data analysis software.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and drive results independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with ERP, PLM, and MES systems and their integration into operational processes is desirable.
