Program Management Role
Duration: 6+ Months
Location:
Malvern, PA This is a hands-on program management role embedded within a fast-moving, multi-workstream program at a critical launch point. The right candidate is a disciplined PM practitioner who can own workstream execution end-to-end: maintaining planning artifacts, facilitating governance forums, surfacing risks before they escalate, and keeping delivery on track across competing priorities. This is not a coordinator position. It requires someone who can operate credibly alongside Client's technical and program leadership, integrate into established governance structures without disrupting them, and earn the trust of engineering teams before trying to drive them.
Critically, many of the engineering teams involved with Helio will not be fully dedicated to the program: they carry BAU responsibilities alongside program commitments. The ability to work effectively with them to define clear milestones, build work breakdown structures from ambiguous inputs, and hold non-dedicated teams accountable while driving deep engagement is the core skill this role demands.
Responsibilities:
- Own day-to-day planning, tracking, and execution for one or more assigned Helios work streams
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, dependency logs, milestone tracking, and RAIDD artifacts in alignment with program standards
- Coordinate governance forums, working sessions, and cross-workstream alignment activities to sustain program rhythm and decision-making cadence
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards, status reports, and leadership briefing materials calibrated to program governance cadence
- Facilitate alignment sessions, capture decisions, and surface dependencies, sequencing risks, and escalation items to the PM Lead
- Support definition-of-done tracking, milestone compliance reviews, and readiness assessments across assigned work streams
- Identify governance structures, processes, and management practices likely to require long-term ownership beyond the program lifecycle
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of program or project management experience in a consulting or client-embedded delivery context;
Manager or Senior Consultant level - Demonstrated ability to manage workstream execution within a large, multi-track program; fluency in integrated planning, dependency management, and RAIDD disciplines
- Infrastructure, platform, or cloud delivery background preferred; familiarity with patching operations, infrastructure lifecycle management, or operational velocity programs strongly preferred
- Proven ability to work effectively with teams and resources who are not fully dedicated to a program: defining milestones, clarifying goals and deliverables, and maintaining accountability without formal authority
- Experience supporting executive reporting and governance materials for senior technology leadership audiences
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage ambiguity at the workstream level while operating within a structured program governance model
- Adapts quickly to established client cultures and ways of working; listens and integrates before prescribing; earns trust before driving change
