Overview
Lead Construction Specialist – Full-Time, Daylight hours; 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mars, PA
The Lead Construction Specialist is responsible for quality and daily coordination, oversight and inspection of assigned construction projects for Lutheran Senior Life. This includes ensuring that all goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frames and funding parameters. Performs renovations and repairs for all facets of buildings, including new construction, renovations, and inspections, to provide a continuous safe environment and efficient operation of the buildings and homes throughout the organization.
Qualifications- Associate or Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in construction management preferred.
- 7-10 years of related experience or equivalent experience and education.
- Knowledge of specific materials, power and hand tools and methods used in building processes of assigned trade. Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, operating principles and electrical systems. Knowledge of plumbing repairs, maintenance, installation techniques and local plumbing codes. Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
- Valid driver’s license.
