Our client, D&S Elite Construction, is looking for a Site Superintendent in the Douglassville market!
Primary Purpose
- Construction Superintendent
Lead on-site operations to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and to quality standards, while managing field teams, daily progress reporting, and supporting project closeout and client satisfaction.
1. Field Leadership & Execution - 40%
• Serve as the primary on-site representative.
• Direct and supervise all on-site activities, subcontractors, crews, and vendors.
• Enforce safety, quality, and schedule adherence in the field.
• Maintain a consistent on-site presence and serve as the primary point of contact for field coordination.
• Lead subcontractor coordination, sequencing, and issue resolution.
2. Quality Control - 25%
• Inspect work in progress for compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Implement corrective actions immediately when deficiencies are identified.
• Lead final punch lists and on-site closeout walks with the client and internal leadership.
• Verify scope completion prior to billing milestones.
3. Schedule & Progress Validation - 15%
• Maintain and update the project schedule to reflect actual field progress.
• Confirm percent complete for each trade and scope.
• Communicate verified progress to the Project Finance Specialist to support accurate billing and pay applications.
• Identify schedule risks and address them in a timely fashion.
4. Daily Logs, Photos & Field Documentation - 10%
• Maintain accurate Daily Logs, progress photos, and field notes in Buildertrend.
• Ensure documentation supports owner-facing financials and billing prepared by the PFS.
• Capture delays, scope changes, weather impacts, and field conditions clearly and consistently.
5. Safety & Site Compliance - 5%
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant jobsite.
• Document incidents and corrective actions as required.
6. Resource & Material Management - 5%
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment usage, and on-site logistics.
• Verify materials received align with approved scopes and delivery schedules.
• Notify PFS of material receipts that impact billing or cost tracking.
7. Professional Development (Optional / Developmental) - 10%
• Gain exposure to financial workflows by reviewing budget vs. actual reports provided by the PFS.
• Participate in coordination meetings to understand billing cycles, change order workflows, and cost impacts.
• Develop leadership and planning skills without assuming financial processing or billing authority.
