Work Environment

The role is based out of an office in Cranberry Township, PA, with daily travel to various construction sites. Typical projects include private new construction and land development for commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings. You will work primarily in the field at active construction sites, performing testing on materials such as concrete, asphalt, soil, and steel. The standard schedule is a 40-hour workweek, generally from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some night shifts as needed.

As weather conditions warm, there are opportunities for overtime. The work is highly independent, with daily travel to different sites and the need to manage your own schedule and tasks in the field. You may travel to a designated site to pick up nuclear gauge equipment before your shift if you do not have your own assigned unit.
