Join our team as a Civil Site Construction Inspector and ensure the integrity and quality of essential all site improvement. Based in our Allentown office, you'll perform field inspections, document conditions, and help ensure projects meet approved plans and specifications. - Conduct thorough inspections of all site improvements to confirm quality and compliance with approved plans and specifications.
- Maintain detailed daily documentation, including progress notes, field observations, contractor communications, and photo records.
- Identify substandard or non-conforming work and coordinate corrective actions with contractors, municipal representatives, and project managers.
- Communicate professionally with contractors, municipal personnel, utility operators, engineering staff, and stakeholders.
- Utilize digital tools for data collection and reporting, including Survey
123, ArcGIS, tablets, and GPS equipment as needed.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience with municipal or authority site improvements.
- Proven experience in all site improvements construction or inspection.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and municipal standards independently.
- Strong field documentation and reporting skills.
- Proficiency using digital field tools (Survey
123, ArcGIS, tablets, etc.). - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- NICET certification.
- GPS knowledge or experience is a plus.
