Are you passionate about construction and looking for an opportunity to travel? We are seeking an experienced Permanent Traveling Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the country, ranging from telecommunications to OSP and EV charging stations. You will play a crucial role in the successful completion of our projects, ensuring safety compliance, managing budgets, assessing risks, supervising job sites, and estimating construction costs.

This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Traveling Superintendent, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing daily operations on the construction site, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
2. Enforcing strict safety guidelines and company standards to minimize accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
3. Managing project budgets, including the review and approval of invoices and change orders.
4. Identifying and evaluating potential risks and implementing appropriate risk management strategies.
5. Leading and supervising a team of construction workers and subcontractors, providing guidance and resolving issues as they arise.
6. Estimating construction costs and preparing detailed forecasts to ensure projects are completed within budget.
7. Coordinating with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, and engineers, to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives and progress.
8. Implementing and managing construction projects related to telecommunications, OSP, and EV charging stations.
9. Regularly traveling to different job sites as required by project needs.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in safety compliance, budget management, risk management, job site supervision, and construction estimating.
3. Experience in telecommunications, OSP, and EV charging stations is highly preferred.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
6. The ability to travel frequently and stay at various job sites for extended periods of time.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly under pressure.
8. A solid understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
9. Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
10. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
