Mac Kai West is partnered with one of the fastest growing General Contractors in the Greater Philadelphia market seeking an Estimator to join their growing leadership team. This is not a "just bid work all day" type of role. This is a highly visible opportunity with a well-established GC that has:

The Senior Estimator will lead estimating efforts across a variety of commercial construction projects from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission. This individual will play a key role in helping the company continue scaling its already strong pipeline while partnering closely with leadership, operations, and field teams. The ideal candidate is someone who understands how to win work strategically-not just someone who can plug numbers into a spreadsheet.

• Prepare and lead detailed cost estimates for commercial ground-up projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents
• Manage subcontractor solicitation, bid leveling, and scope reviews
• Develop conceptual budgets and value engineering recommendations
• Collaborate closely with ownership, project management, and operations teams
• Participate in client meetings and preconstruction discussions
• Help drive estimating strategy and process improvements
• Assist leadership in evaluating project risk, scheduling, and feasibility

• 6+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction
• Strong experience with ground-up commercial projects required
• Background with retail, self-storage, grocery, or related commercial builds highly preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and leadership presence
• Local Greater Philadelphia market experience preferred
