Position: Estimator/ Project Manager

Overview

Position: Project Manager / Estimator

Experience: Mid Level •
Salary: $95,000 - $150,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Estimating & Preconstruction: Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents; prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates; solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and vendor proposals; develop project budgets, scopes of work, and value engineering recommendations; participate in bid reviews and client presentations.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously; develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans; coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and field personnel; monitor project costs and prepare financial forecasts; manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation; conduct project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders; ensure compliance with safety standards, contract requirements, and company procedures.
  • Client & Team Leadership: Build and maintain strong client relationships; collaborate closely with superintendents and field teams to drive project success; identify project risks and implement proactive solutions; support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of commercial construction estimating and/or project management experience.
  • Experience with healthcare, corporate interiors, life sciences, education, or institutional projects preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
