Are you an experienced Project Manager with a solid background in the construction industry? Do you have a proven track record in safety compliance, budget management, risk management and job site supervision? If you answered yes to these questions, we have the perfect opportunity for you. We are looking for a Permanent Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This position requires a high level of responsibility, strategic planning, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate will have experience in construction estimating, telecommunications, OSP, EV charging stations, project management, budgeting, contract management, quality control, negotiation, problem-solving, change management, and site management.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Project Manager, you will be expected to:

1. Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation.
2. Allocate resources for assigned projects.
3. Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
4. Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
5. Negotiate with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors.
6. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
7. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
8. Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
9. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
10. Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.
11. Direct the strategic planning of construction projects.
12. Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines and local construction regulations are met.
13. Carry out job site supervision and ensure compliance with safety standards.
14. Manage the installation of EV charging stations and telecommunications infrastructure.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. A minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in safety compliance, budget management, risk management, job site supervision, construction estimating, telecommunications, OSP, EV charging stations, project management, budgeting, contract management, quality control, negotiation, strategic planning, team leadership, problem-solving, change management, and site management.
3. Excellent knowledge of construction project management principles and practices.
4. Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
5. Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
6. Competent in conflict and crisis management.
7. Excellent time and project management skills.
8. BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
9. Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on attitude.
10. Excellent computer skills and familiarity with construction management software.
