Traveling Environmental Construction Manager
We are seeking a dedicated Traveling Environmental Construction Manager to support a diverse portfolio of environmental remediation, industrial construction, and infrastructure projects across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. This role involves providing field-based construction oversight and acting as the on-site representative to ensure projects meet safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Responsibilities- Monitor contractor activities and project execution to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Document project progress and maintain comprehensive records.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, construction crews, and project stakeholders.
- Oversee environmental remediation projects, including groundwater treatment systems and contaminated site activities.
- Ensure safe work practices on industrial and environmental job sites.
- Travel extensively to project sites across the East Coast region.
- Proficient in construction management, environmental remediation, and hazardous waste projects.
- Experience with earthwork and industrial construction.
- Strong understanding of environmental health and safety requirements.
- Ability to function as an owner's representative or field construction lead.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting chemical plants, manufacturing facilities, and heavy industrial projects.
- Familiarity with groundwater systems, dredging, soil stabilization, and decommissioning.
- Valid driver's license and strong communication skills.
- OSHA 30 and HAZWOPER certifications preferred.
This position involves 100% project-based travel, with accommodations provided while on assignment. Home travel is typically every other weekend, with potential for more frequent travel when projects are within driving distance. The travel schedule is determined by project needs, ensuring candidates are not away from home for extended periods without return travel.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Blue Bell, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $46.63 - $69.71/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
