Overview
Join a pioneering immersive AV and creative technology studio to help develop next-generation Touch Designer-powered systems. This role focuses on building real-time 3D visuals, sensor-based interactions, and object-recognition experiences for large-scale LED and projection mapping installations. You will collaborate closely with the internal team to define technical requirements, implement interactive features, and provide hands-on training to staff. Reference materials and inspirational media are available to guide the creative and technical direction, with the goal of delivering world-class immersive experiences tailored to the African market.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement Touch Designer systems for immersive AV installations
- Create real-time 3D visual content and interactive elements using sensors and object recognition
- Collaborate with the team to define project requirements and technical specifications
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to staff on Touch Designer workflows and best practices
- Reference and adapt example media and inspiration to suit project goals
- Ensure robust, scalable, and reliable system performance for live environments
- Proficiency in Touch Designer for real-time visual and interactive system development
- Experience with projection mapping, LED installations, or similar immersive AV projects
- Strong understanding of sensor integration and object recognition within interactive environments
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and provide effective training to team members
- Familiarity with 3D content creation and real-time graphics workflows
- Creative problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to project delivery
- Availability for remote collaboration, with flexibility for follow-up work as needed
