Job Summary:
The Intermediate School Chorus Director is responsible for leading and cultivating the intermediate schools' chorus program.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Select grade level appropriate repertoire that enhances students' vocal skills and musical appreciation.
- Lead the chorus in rehearsals and performances, providing instruction in vocal technique, musicianship, and ensemble cohesion.
- Develop and implement effective rehearsal strategies that maximize productivity and artistic excellence.
- Offer individualized coaching and mentorship to students, fostering their vocal skills, musicality, and confidence.
- Ensure all performances are of the highest quality, showcasing the talents and progress of the choir.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the administration.
