Summary
Penn's Grove Middle School is seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our team in a dynamic role focused on dramatics. The ideal candidate will inspire students through the exploration of theater, performance, and creative expression. This position offers an opportunity to cultivate a love for the arts while enhancing students' confidence, teamwork, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive dramatics curriculum that aligns with educational standards and student interests.
- Organize and direct school plays, performances, and other theatrical events, ensuring a high-quality experience for both participants and audiences.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate dramatics into the broader educational experience.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students in acting, stagecraft, and other aspects of theater production.
- Conduct auditions, rehearsals, and workshops, offering constructive feedback to help students grow as performers.
- Manage budgets and resources for productions, including costumes, props, and set design.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and the school community regarding events, schedules, and opportunities in dramatics.
- Stay informed about best practices and trends in theater education, incorporating new ideas into the program.

Requirements
- Previous experience in teaching or directing theater, preferably in a middle school setting.
- Strong knowledge of various aspects of theater production, including acting, directing, and stage design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the community.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for the performing arts and a commitment to fostering student engagement in dramatics.
- Certification in education or relevant teaching credentials preferred.
