Associate Photographer - Pittsburgh, PA
Associate Photographers are responsible for creating media for and They use a Matterport Pro 3 camera, digital equipment, and an iPad to capture virtual tours, floor plans, and residential photography. Each photographer has a core territory and works closely with clients, sales associates, logistics, and management. Photography managers oversee the team remotely.
Responsibilities- Capture 3‑D virtual tours and footprints for the company’s marketplaces.
- Create a portfolio of photographs that best showcase homes and apartments.
- Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments.
- Communicate professionally with clients, sales, researchers, and managers to evaluate priorities and tasks.
- When not photographing, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage and identify new inventory.
- Adhere to CoStar safety standards for vehicles and equipment.
- Represent CoStar professionally at all times.
- Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.
- Stand, walk, and sit in a car for up to 8 hours per day.
- Lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
- Type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment regularly.
- Perform occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying.
- Work outdoors in all seasons and on a rotating weekend schedule.
- At least 2 years of professional photography experience.
- Track record of commitment to prior employers.
- Real estate photography experience required.
- Experience as a professional photographer or a recent degree in photography.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong customer service experience.
- FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot License (obtained within 30 days of offer).
- Excellent time‑management, detail orientation, and data entry skills.
- Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, internet applications, and Apple iOS products.
- Enjoys working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Field experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record check.
Base Compensation: $49,000 – $50,000 (hourly) depending on location, skills, and performance.
