ROLE OVERVIEWThe Production Artist II is responsible for replicating template-based designs with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all brand and league guidelines are met across the sports licensed business groups. Working at the intersection of design and technical production, this role translates apparel styles into production‑ready tech packs, manages league submittal documents, and partners cross‑functionally with merchandising, product design, and product development teams to maintain graphic integrity from concept through execution.
The Production Artist II delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI‑enabled insights.

Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)- Replicate apparel design templates with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring that every licensed product delivered to fans meets the aesthetic standards of league and brand partners.
- Maintain the integrity of fonts, graphics, and embellishments so that fan‑facing products reflect authentic, officially licensed quality across all product categories.
- Proofread tech packs and troubleshoot artwork, graphic, and embellishment issues to ensure seamless production execution and a premium product experience for fans.
- Apply technical knowledge of graphic setups, fabric and twill preparation, typography, color matching, and application processes to solve production challenges with both designer instincts and engineering precision.
- Convert apparel styles across multiple leagues and teams, identifying and resolving artwork and embellishment issues before they impact production timelines.
- Leverage project management tools to monitor tasks, deadlines, and workload, continuously improving throughput and quality across concurrent assignments.
- Demonstrate curiosity in exploring new techniques, tools, and workflows that enhance graphic replication accuracy and production efficiency.
- Take end‑to‑end ownership of league submittal documents, managing art revisions and tracking approvals through to completion with accuracy and accountability.
- Meet fast‑paced, deadline‑driven production schedules including extended hours and on‑call availability as business needs require.
- Maintain organized archives of files, photos, and work products to ensure continuity, traceability, and operational excellence across the team.
- Partner closely with the internal creative department, merchandising, product design, and product development teams to ensure alignment on design intent, brand standards, and production requirements.
- Support supervisors and managers with flex assignments as needed, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to contribute wherever the team needs it.
- Contribute to a collaborative, high‑energy studio environment where shared ownership and clear communication drive consistent quality outcomes.
