Dental Assistant Expanded Functions

Location: Montgomery County, PA

$30–$36 per hour, based on experience

Part-Time / Full-Time

• 2 days per week
• 8-hour shifts
• Full-time position anticipated within the next 3–6 months
• Additional hours may be available before then for candidates seeking a semi-full-time schedule

• Perform Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) procedures, including restorative functions
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain instruments and treatment rooms
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions
• Assist hygienists during hygiene appointments as needed
• Help create a positive, efficient, and comfortable patient experience

• Active Pennsylvania EFDA certification required
• Current radiology certification
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and commitment to outstanding patient care
