Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing dental practice. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced hygienists and new graduates, as we welcome candidates who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
  • Conduct oral health assessments and assist in identifying dental conditions.
  • Take and process dental X-rays and other diagnostic images.
  • Maintain strict infection control and aseptic techniques.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive dental care.
  • Review patient medical histories and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable regulatory guidelines.
  • Utilize Dentrix or similar dental software to update patient records.
  • Assist the dentist in developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
  • Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
  • Knowledge of medical coding and documentation.
  • Previous dental office experience is a plus.

New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Patient Volume

  • Approximately 8-10 patients per day, allowing adequate time to provide quality care and patient education.

Work Schedule

  • Monday through Thursday
  • 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • One-hour lunch break
  • No evenings
  • No weekends
  • No on-call responsibilities
