Dental Receptionist

Location: 714 N. Bethlehem Pike, Lower Gwynedd, PA 19002

We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Dental Receptionist to join our team in Lower Gwynedd, PA. This part‑time position offers flexible days and hours, allowing you to create a positive patient experience while managing front desk operations and supporting the administrative needs of our practice.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive first impression.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally.
  • Confirm appointments and manage patient recalls.
  • Assist patients with paperwork and office procedures.
  • Address patient concerns and communicate them to the appropriate team member.
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments efficiently.
  • Manage the daily schedule to maximize productivity and patient satisfaction.
  • Check patients in and out of appointments.
  • Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within Dentrix.
  • Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility.
  • Explain treatment estimates and financial arrangements to patients.
  • Collect co-pays, balances, and payments.
  • Process financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with insurance claims and follow‑up as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff.
  • Assist with office projects, marketing initiatives, and patient outreach programs.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous dental or medical office experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Dentrix or other dental practice management software preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset.
Schedule

This is a part‑time position with flexible days and hours.

Compensation

Hourly pay ranges from $17 to $22 per hour.
